The Wine:
Hand-picked on the 4th, 20th and 24th of April, wild yeast fermented in closed puncheon and open fermenter, 10% whole bunch, matured for 11 months in French oak (30% new, Francois Frères). Unfined.

"Mixed berries, milk chocolate, textural tannins, sandy, perky and lively. Great flavour running top to bottom, front to back. All juicy with delicate detail, nuanced. A bit of fennel and sweet liquorice with peppermint, a lick of toast and a squeeze of blood orange and pepper to finish. Beautiful composition, complexity and flow. Lots happening and lots very good."
